Human activity causes climate change.        Whether abrupt or gradual, climate change has emerged as one of the most urgent problems of our day. Although Earth's climate has undoubtedly been shaped by natural forces throughout history, human activity is primarily responsible for the environmental changes that are occurring today. The amount of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane in the atmosphere has significantly increased due to the fast industrialization, deforestation, and burning of fossil fuels.
